Southern Light House – London, UK
2009 – Built
The ground floor plan of this terrace house has been completely altered through the use of a radical structural solution, resulting in a clear open plan space relating to the garden. Free standing rubber clad forms house the storage and utility rooms. The use of a jagged saw tooth rooflight system to bring the light deep into the plan transforms the domestic nature of the extension into a more industrial aesthetic.
