Volcano House – Cuernavaca, Mexico
Concept design for a house in Cuernavaca, near Mexico City. The site’s rural setting is at the foot of a hill facing the valley of Mexico City with its two dormant volcanoes in the background. The house for a couple makes use of passive energy systems and collects water from the site. The design is based on the use of traditional construction methods and local materials such as brick and timber.
